Exceptional spot to buy some food when in a hurry. Their customer service is quick, rates are reasonable, fantastic atmosphere. Will come visit again

One of my favourite sushi restaurants. Me and my friends come here all the time and are always satisfied with our order. (We order something new every time) I have been there over 5 times and I get nothing but great service and great food.

Went and had my first ramen here, was not disappointed! The staff are friendly and the restaurant simple. Not a fine dining place so don't come here looking for that. The portion was huge, I couldn't finish my bowl. And the price was pretty good too! They had dessert and hot drink options but I didn't really look at those.

Service was very friendly. Food was tasty and very fresh. Only open Saturday 5-10pm we were there pretty much the whole time and they didn't rush is until it was time to close up. They have Japanese tv playing, quietly. Cute little decor accents, like lanterns and paper origami being used as part of their wall separators. Not a lot of parking in the plaza. Quite a few spot are short term 30 minutes limits. This shop has a la carte, Bento boxes, and meal specials. If you are looking for all you can eat, it is not here. Prices are fair for what you are buying. I would go back again.

What a delightful dining experience. This is the best sushi place in town. Really. Superb sashimi with many varieties you will not find anywhere else. (Like fresh raw shrimps) see sashimi picture attached. Coming from Europe where we are used to high quality sushi places, this was absolutely a delicious 😋 surprise in Brampton! Wonderful customer service!

Dinner box was very well balanced and tasty! Salmon sushi and rolls were fresh and teriyaki was seasoned and cooked perfectly! The best aspect of the restaurant was their service! Very knowledgeable staffs who have actual knowledge in Japanese cuisine! Overall I had a good time in this restaurant with my family.

Quality a la carte sushi. Prices are about par for an a la carte place. Sushi is fantastic. Check out their other offerings, including bento boxes and donburi.

Very good food, nicely presented. The location kinda sucks but there is plenty of free parking and the restaurant itself has a very pleasant quaint ambiance. Some interesting beers too.Reservations are definitely recommend, even for lunch.

Ordered 1 chicken & 1 beef teriyaki, and a mixed tempura for take-out. Service was quick and friendly. The teriyaki wasn't great - chicken was too big and lean and lacked flavour. Will give it another chance at dine-in based on other reviews.

One of the most authentic Japanese restaurants I've been to, they have some amazing Japanese dishes besides sushi (which is rare). The owners are very sweet and make you feel like a guest in their home. Its a little pricier but quality is worth it

Fantastic food and service. You have to try the Green Salad, the sauce is amazing.

Food here is fresh and delicious! The teriyaki tofu with veggies and noodles or rice is delicious because the tofu pieces are massive and the texture is great. Haven't had tofu like that anywhere else! The only suggestion I have is that that the teriyaki sauce should be made with vegetable broth rather than chicken broth. Either that or they should have two sauce options - one that is completely vegetarian and the other that already exists made with chicken broth.

Great sushi. I went there with my dad and we got our order on time. The staff was really nice even though my dad couldn’t pronounce words they would still help.

Toshi Japanese restaurant it has a really good Japanese cuisine. The interior of the restaurant looks good and there is plenty of free parking spots. The food is good and the waiters/waitresses are very polite. I will definitely come again!

Celebrated my friend's birthday party here. Their service staff made it really special for us with their food and their amazing service. We really like this place and definitely recommend it to other friends.

This is my favorite place for sushi and sashimi! Thick slices of fish with a good texture and the nigiri survives flip-dipping in soy sauce.The (cooked) gindara is also a delicious choice and I recommend trying the takoyaki as an appetizer! The icecream dessert comes with a sugar wafer. The staff are always excellent to us, with quick and friendly service. The atmosphere is quiet.

This is a great, quiet, and a clean space. I love the food. I am a fake sushi eater. I only veggie sushi i.e avocado rolls, yam rolls and etc. The staff is lovely. Overall I really enjoy going there.

A real great Japanese Restaurant in an unassuming Brampton strip mall. Really fresh sushi and sashimi. Really nice portions at some fair prices. We really didn’t order from the menu, we just asked the chef to make whatever he wanted. Next time we will go back and order from the menu. It’s not fancy but rather homey. It would have been nice if there was a sushi bar but the open kitchen made up for it. A great place for locals but it’s also worth the drive. Enjoy

I always love going to Toshi's. Warm and cozy restaurant with very friendly staff. My friends and I are always there for hours and they are never pushy to get you to leave even if the restaurant is busy. Delicious food!

This spot obviously knows how to please their clients. Always with a super friendly attitude. The food is fairly priced, always tasty and clean.

Authentic Japanese experience! The staff was extra sympathetic and the food was delicious. I had Salmon Teriyaki and it was superb. 100% a hidden gem in a small mall.

Decor isnt too exciting. Very attentive and friendly staff. The menu even provides tips on japanese etiquette. I've had better teriyaki elsewhere. The sashimi was a bit cold when you bite into it i.e. you know that their refrigeration system works well :). Other places the sashimi is a at room temp or slightly less chilly. Spicy salmon roll definitely had a bite to it which is refreshing compared to other sushi places who tone down the spice levels. Restrooms are very well kept.

Toshi has been a staple in the Brampton community for quite some time now. It's dishes are affordably priced and the portions are satisfactorily equal as well. Plant to wait a bit some night's for your order as it's a pretty busy spot. But consistency is key and over the past 8 years or so that I've eaten here, it's always just as good as the first time I had it!

Toshi is a such hidden gem in Brampton. It's easy to miss in the plaza but is now one of my favourite sushi spots in the city. The restaurant itself looks authentic and feels cozy inside. The service is quick and friendly. We ordered gyoza, miso soup, and salad to start. The rainbow rolls were filling and unlike other sushi stores, it wasn't mostly rice with only a little bit of filling. The sashimi dinner was delicious and high-quality, comparable to some meals I've had in Japan. The fish is so buttery and melts in your mouth. The price is also very fair for what we ordered. Highly recommend!

Everything is delicious and very fresh. Top quality food and very consistent. My wife and I have been coming here for many years, it's one of our top 3 places to eat.

I stopped here completely by chance with three co-workers for lunch. Absolutely hands down this is the best Japanese for miles around. Great value, great food, exceptional service and very comfortable. We had many pieces of sushi as well as a Bento each and i am hard pressed to remember finding better. We will definitely return now that we have found this gem.
